The Barnes Foundation’s Walk for Life event raised money for the American Cancer Society’s Illinois Patient Navigation Services program. This event raised enough money to fund the program for almost an entire year.
The Barnes Foundation’s Second Walk/Run for Life 5K event again raised money for American Cancer Society’s Illinois Patient navigation Services program. The Barnes Foundation has been a “driving force” in cancer care with this event specifically raising funds for the Road to Recovery program.
Cocktails for a Cause for The University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Illinois. We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who helped us support this world-class cancer treatment center in our own backyard.
The Cancer Support Center in Homewood provides free comprehensive resources that help people improve their quality of life during the cancer experience. All programs are facilitated by experienced clinical professionals and services always are free of charge to anyone affected by cancer, including the person with cancer, loved ones, friends and bereaved of all ages.
Trinity Services’ mission is to help people with disabilities live full and abundant lives. The Barnes Foundation is proud to support their mission and ongoing efforts within the community. Trinity’s Playground Campaign raised money to provide a new playground for the children served by Trinity Services, including the Barnes Foundation’s donation.
The Barnes Foundation is delighted to be a part of MorningStar Mission’s Food Basket and Stars Gift Programs. We assist them with providing food baskets and gifts to more than 400 needy families right here in our community and also spend time helping to distributing the baskets and gifts.
